A cross between Shar-Pei and Poodle is known as Shar-Poo. They may have the best traits of their parent dogs. Sharpoos are the playful, smart and so sweet dogs. It makes a great family dog. With the traits of both parents it may tend to be loyal, intelligent and devoted to the owner. It loves to be the center of the attention of the family and gets pleasure form to be pleased. Love able yet playful Shar-poos are happy dogs. It is eager to please the owner with its tricks. It is trustworthy, friendly to the family and somewhat cordial toward other dogs. With a moderate socialization it may tend to be greatly well with children. It is an average watch dog. it has low aggressiveness and tendency to bark. It comes with an outstanding appearance that is unique with medium to long, soft and somewhat wavy coat, the coat is easy to groom. It require an average amount of exercise. It is highly trainable like poodle and Shar pei. This hybrid dog is easy available and not good for warm climate. Their size is small and weight is 40 to 60 pounds and height is in between 13 to 20 inches, age limit is up to 16 years usually.

Shar-Poo Appearance

The coat is somewhat medium to long and soft that is rather wavy. They comes in white colors but some may have black color.
