Pocket Pitbull Overview


The Pocket Pitbull is mix of Patterdale Terrier and American Pit Bull Terrier. They are also known as Pocket Pit bull and Pocket Pitbulls. Some breeders call them Patterdale Terrier/ American Pit Bull Terrier hybrid dogs. Pocket Pitbulls are generally produced to get a dog with the qualities of the American Pit bull Terriers and the Patterdale Terrier.
The parent dogs of the Pocket Pitbull are very energetic and the active purebred dogs. The Pocket Pitbull may have the instinctive qualities of both or one parent dogs. The Pocket Pitbull are the vigorous dogs and may require a consistent and dominated pack leader from their puppy-hood. With a lacked and unconfident pack leader these dogs may be hard to control. The instinctive qualities of the both parent dogs the make them a good tempered hybrid dogs. Pocket Pitbull may be protective, sweet, intelligent and good family dog with proper socialization and the well behavioral and early age obedience training. The Pocket Pitbull may be a friendly. They may tend to be the energetic medium sized dogs and required vigorous training. The Pocket Pitbull never can be bored if they have some inspired and active exercises. The agility and the athleticism and being activity lover may set them with children and a consistent active owner/master.
The Pocket Pitbull may be excellent intelligent and gentle dog. With early age socialization and the good obedience training they may be good with the children and the other pets also. Pocket Pitbull coat is easy to groom. Combing and brushing should be done once in a week. Dry shampoo is recommended for this hybrid dog. The shiny and smooth short haired coat of the Pocket Pitbull required little grooming like its parent dog Patterdale Terrier.The Pocket Pitbulls are hybrid dogs and the hybrids have less health issues than the purebred dogs.
