Miniature Boxers are loving, very friendly, affectionate and devoted to the family but can be distrustful of strangers. They may tend to be very gently and calm with children. While they have good socialization can get along with other canines and pets at home. They can be protector of family and withstand to protect till the death. They are non-aggressive dogs but may tend to be formidable guardian if provoked by a potential threat. They are mistrustful of strangers and will alert you for any approach of a stranger. To study the temperament of the Miniature Boxer is most necessary to study the temperament of the both parent dogs of Mini boxers. With the qualities of the Boxer dog it may be playful, high spirited and energetic and happy hybrid dog. With dominated Traits of Boston Terrier in it the Miniature boxer may tend to be alert, very smart, moderate, decent and fervent. A lack in physical and mental exercises may turn it to be rambunctious and a bit high strung. Boston terriers are very sensitive to the tone of the one's voice. Boston Terriers are easy to train and like to learn. They have enough intelligence to pick the things quickly. Without a proper leadership and dominated human pack leader they may got the small dog syndrome, to prevent it from getting small dog syndrome it is most necessary that human leader should be very calm, firm, and intelligent and dominated over the dogs. When a dog has not proper training it must have the behavioral issues in it. Boston Terriers are also required a full confident, consistent, firm but gentle human pack leader. Boston terriers are good with children and other pets at home. Miniature boxer may have some or all qualities of the Boston terrier in its temperament.
