Miniature Boxer is a hybrid dog, a mix of Boxer and Boston Terrier. There are many breeders who are breeding their own versions of miniature boxer by mixing different dogs, such as some mixing Rat Terriers with Pugs and call them Miniature/mini boxer others call it Puggat. As we know there is not even have boxer in it. Some are doing cross of Pug with Fox Terriers and call them mini/Miniature Boxer. Others call them Toy Boxer. The Miniature Boxers that are recognized by ACHC are only the mix of Boxer wit Boston terrier. The purpose of all breeders to produce a Mini boxer may common as they want to get a smaller in size and good temper dog.

Some are seriously endeavoring on creating a new purebred, scripting a breed standard and registering it. These specific dogs avowed to have minimum fifty percent of Boxer. Twenty five percent Boxers can be regard as breeding stockpile as well; they are being used to breed higher %age. They are described as having up-to 25% Beagle, to 25% Pug and Boston Terrier have share of 50%, they said that there should not exceed 50% of total Beagle, Boston and Pug combined. Remember, in it, other breeds may be included in near or far future for broadened the gene pool.
