Overview

Miniature labradoodle is a hybrid dog mix of Labrador Retriever/miniature Poodle. Labradoodle is also known as Labrador retriever/ Poodle hybrid dog. There are simply two way of breeding a mini labradoodles by the breeders.They are as follows:

a. Some breeder first crossed the labrador retriever with Miniature Poodles to bred a Miniature Labradoodle and some have toy labradoodles. Sometimes these two smaller in sizes the labradoodles has achieved by an artificial insemination or surgical insemination, but this method of breeding is not easy to adopt all breeders easily. The production result may have or may be the miniature sizes puppies. The general theory is that the size of the mini labradoodle will be between the sizes of the Labrador retrieves and the Miniature Poodles.

b. To get the puppies like ¼ Labrador Retriever, ½ Poodle and ¼ Cocker spaniels. Some breeders produced a smaller Miniature labradoodle by inducing a third breed. A cocker spaniel is crossed with a Labrador retriever by some of the breeders to get a smaller size min Labradoodle. When they have a cocker/Labrador female then they mate it with Miniature poodle the mating may be natural breeding or artificial insemination, surgical. These two ways of the breeding a miniature labradoodles are in vogue in the present era of the breeding.

Mini Labradoodles have a unique appearance with many types of coat. Mini Labradoodles’ may be smooth, wavy-haired, curly coat. Sometimes the appearance of the labradoodle is same of very close to the appearance of Labrador Retrievers and poodles also. Coat is curly some time, some time smooth, and some time wavy. The muzzle is medium and little bit up on lips. Labradoodle has ears some pointed. The tail of Labradoodle is long enough little bit upward to the rear of the dog. Multi Generation

Now we look into what are the F1, F1B, F2, F3 and Multi Generation.

F1

F1= First generation of Labrador Retriever/Poodle is called. In F1 there is 50% of Poodle and 50% of Labrador retriever qualities. The first generation can be healthier with smooth like a Labrador retrievers, wiry coats like Irish Wolfhound or wavy/shaggy. They may or may not shed. The shedding may vary from dog to dog. Some time the first generation may found with a wiry look like irish wolfhound with soft feelings.

F1B

F1-B= In this type of Dogs there may be 75% of Poodles and 25 Labrador Retrievers. this generation is a cross of Labradoodles with Poodles.

F2

F2= In this type of Labradoodles the Labradoodles crossed with the Labradoodles. In this type may be the qualities of F1 Goldendoodles. F1 there is 50% of Poodle and 50% of Golden Retriever qualities.

F3

F3= In this type of crossing the Labradoodles of F2 crossed with F2.

Multi-generation

Multi-generation = In this type of mixing the dogs Higher generation or F3 crossed with same higher generation or F3.

Miniature Labradoodle Life Expectancy

Miniature Labradoodles life expectancy may be from 12 years to 14 years in general. Miniature Labradoodles life expectancy may vary from the said years. These are just human’s estimations but the final decision is in the hand of divine.
