Overview of Horgi

A cross between Corgi and Husky is known as Horgi or Siborgi. They may have the best traits of their parent dogs. They may have a great and sweet temperament like their parent dogs. The both parents are herding dogs. The purpose of their production may be to get a husky like dog in a size of Corgi. The Horgi are close to ground dogs like the Corgi. They may be suitable for cold weather and hot too. Some time it looks like a German shepherd dogs. With early age socialization they may tend to be good with children. They can be a small house dog. They may have the height about 13 inches or more; the weight may be between 20 to 50 pounds. Their life expectancy may be 12 to 15 years.
Horgis are small, low-set, energetic and sturdy built dogs with short legs. They may have erected ears or loose limbs like a Cardigan Welsh Corgi. The head is somewhat rounded and eyes are almond shaped and brow and black coloring. The coat of this dog may be either like corgi or husky. The coat comes in all shades of sable, red, brindle or all colors of their parent dogs. It may not require frequent grooming. Generally, daily brushing is sufficient to keep its coat worth looking and free of debris.

Training is a thing which has a great influence and importance to make a dog brilliant dog. With intelligence it may not difficult to train but house train may be a challenge. Like their parents, it requires consistent, firm and positive training sessions. So must be consistent, firm, patient and fair in training. The active Horgi require plenty of time for running and playing and a fair amount of exercise. Regular walk and long running is crucial and essential for these energetic dogs. At least a daily walk can be enough to make it happy and healthy.
