Malinois parent dogs have a thick double coat and shed only a few times in a
year. The German Malinois may be medium shedder. German Malinois are easy to groom
they may require once a week brushing. The coat of German Malinois is
waterproof normally. The washing of coat is not good. The excessive washing of
the coat may strip oils that protect the coat. They should be combed with a
firm bristle brush once in a week.
